Returning to the Sleep Ledger at
It has been a while since I was able to work on this sleep ledger, simply because I sort of lost enough mental alertness to actually keep track of it. I want to get back to tracking my total sleep once again, however, so I am going to be keeping up with this blog once again. I'll be sending texts from my cellular phone when I am getting the chance to lay down and try to get some sleep, then pinging cellular texts to the blog each time my sleep is interrupted. I'm hoping, as I had hoped when I made this blog, that this will help me in sorting out just how much sleep I really am getting during the week.
I woke up this morning at 11:45 a.m., so I am setting back the time on this post to that time frame so I can better track things later.

The days are cold, the nights are long,
The North wind sings a doleful song;
Then hush again upon my breast;
All merry things are now at rest,
Save thee, my pretty love!
~Dorothy Wordsworth,
"The Cottager to Her Infant"
Even thus last night, and two nights more I lay,
And could not win thee, Sleep, by any stealth:
So do not let me wear to-night away.
Without thee what is all the morning's wealth?
Come, blessed barrier between day and day,
Dear mother of fresh thoughts and joyous health!
~William Wordsworth, "To Sleep"
