I just wanna sleep, whimper.... at

Original Post: "Had just got to sleep again when woke for blankets"

Okay, I had just managed to start feeling the gentle tugging on my consciousness that said "you are relaxed, you are now falling asleep" when dad called me and woke me up again... blankets again. I swear I need to figure out how to keep them blankets straightened out on that bed. ::sigh::

Up I get, straighten them out, then back to bed myself.

I sent this message via my cell phone's text feature when I was woke up by my dad because his blankets had fallen off the bed and needed to be put back up there. I'm now, the next day, editing it to make it more readable.

I'm not asleep... but that doesn't mean I'm awake.
~Author Unknown

How do people go to sleep? I'm afraid I've lost the knack.

The days are cold, the nights are long,
The North wind sings a doleful song;
Then hush again upon my breast;
All merry things are now at rest,
Save thee, my pretty love!
~Dorothy Wordsworth,
"The Cottager to Her Infant"

Even thus last night, and two nights more I lay,
And could not win thee, Sleep, by any stealth:
So do not let me wear to-night away.
Without thee what is all the morning's wealth?
Come, blessed barrier between day and day,
Dear mother of fresh thoughts and joyous health!
~William Wordsworth, "To Sleep"
